Join us on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm for an artist talk with Audrey Dreaver hosted by the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery. Dreaver's work is featured in the touring exhibition "I Do Not Have My Words," which is currently available for viewing at the Mosaic Art Gallery at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre.

Audrey Dreaver is nêhiyawak (Plains Cree) and grew up in Prince Albert; her family comes from the Mistawasis and Ahtahkakoop Cree Nations of Saskatchewan. Dreaver received her MFA in painting from the University of Regina (2015), her BFA in painting, printmaking, and small metal sculpture, and her BA in Museum Studies in curating and Native art history from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Dreaver’s work explores the impact of Cree language loss for herself and her family and considers how language is connected to one’s cultural identity.
